Wireless Remote Control Extender Signal DIR-300 (FSK)

Wireless remote control extender Signal DIR-300 allows the user to control devices located in other rooms of the household. The devices may include e.g. a media player or satellite receiver installed in the living room, which can provide signal to television(s) in other room(s), on the condition that the home system enables signal transmission between the rooms. The remote control extender may also be used in CCTV systems for remote control of DVRs located in different room than the site of the operator.

Elegant and compact design of the transmitter and receiver is well suited to modern home theater etc. Thanks to FSK modulation (Frequency-Shift Keying), the range of the set is significantly larger compared to traditional extenders using analog AM modulation.

Installation procedure:

• Power on the transmitter (trough the 230 VAC / DC adapter) in the "command" room,
• Power on the receiver (trough the second 230 VAC / DC adapter) in the room with device(s) intended for remote control,
• Place the receiver in front of the device(s), at a distance of 0.3-5 meters, or use the included three IR diodes, each of them placing in front of the controlled device (0.5m, +/- 15^o),
• Adjust the telescopic antennas in the transmitter and receiver by setting the length and position to get the best communications,
• Use the original IR remote control(s) of the remotely controlled device(s) and remember that the operational range between an RC and the transmitter is 0.3-5 meters in the +/-15^o angle from the axis of the front panel.

The extender can simultaneously work with multiple remote controls and multiple devices.
In this case, instead of using several remote controllers, the user may program a universal remote control.
